How does Oxygen work with Memberium for ActiveCampaign?
Memberium gives you the control to show or hide elements and sections based on the ActiveCampaign tags and Memberium Membership Levels a member has.
What this means is you can build an entire page in the Oxygen builder and have certain parts of that page only visible to certain members – based on their Membership Levels or tags.
The best part is that you don’t need to have any computer expertise to do this. This is all accomplished within the visual Oxygen builder. You won’t need to use any PHP or shortcodes to start using this on your site.
Make Sure You’ve Updated Memberium
In order to use the Oxygen integration, you’ll need to be on Memberium for ActiveCampaign version 1.150 or higher. (How do I update Memberium?)
How to Access the Conditions Page
Oxygen already has built-in visibility control settings that let you control who can see what. Memberium integrates with that to give you conditions based on Membership levels and ActiveCampaign tags.
In the Oxygen builder, select the element or section you’d like to work with and then click the “Condition Settings” button
From there, you’ll select which will open a popup dialog box where you can add the conditions. As I mentioned earlier, there are many built-in conditions such as logged in/out status, time and date, and more which you can use to control and element or sections visibility.
In the dropdown, you’ll see the Memberium section with two options: Membership Level & Require Tag ID(s)
Protecting with Membership Levels
By selecting Membership Level in the Condition dropdown, you’ll be able to require that a member have a specified membership level in order to view the element or section.
You’ll be presented with a dropdown that will have a list of all the memberships on your site. There is also an option “Any Membership Level” which will show the content to anyone that has a membership level – regardless of which level.
You can add multiple conditions by clicking the button. In the event you do add another condition, by default it will be an AND condition meaning the member will need to meet both conditions in order to see the content.
You can change this by saving your conditions and then going back to the previous screen (shown below) where you can change between AND or OR condition types.
If set to OR, members will only need to meet one single condition in the list to be able to see the content.
Protecting with Tag IDs
By selecting Require Tag ID(s), you’ll be presented with a dropdown of all the tags in your ActiveCampaign app. Selecting a tag from the dropdown will require a member have that tag in order to see the element or section you’re editing.
In the example above, members would need the “Silver” tag in order to see the section I’m editing.
The Require Tag ID(s) does have one more option that can be changed. By clicking you’ll get a dropdown with == and !=
If I choose the == (which is the default) then it means the user must have the tag.
If I choose the != then the member must not have the tag.
Just like the membership option you can add multiple conditions by clicking the button.
Real World Use Cases
Maybe you’d like to have an upgrade offer on your site. Members who are part of the bronze membership could benefit from upgrading to your gold membership.
You can build out the offer on your homepage or course dashboard using Oxygen (a page where your members will see it once it’s live). Then when members log in to the site, they’ll see the upgrade offer and potentially make the purchase.
However, you obviously don’t want to show that section/upgrade offer to members who already have a gold membership. Using Oxygen, you can easily say “Don’t show this section to members with the Gold tag”
Another example could be bonus content on a certain page. Maybe you have a special download or video that is only for your highest tier members.
You can add the bonus content to the same page the other membership levels will use while restricting access just to the bonus content. For members that don’t have access, they simply won’t see the content at all.
In this case, I would add my bonus content and then set the conditions to only allow Gold members to see the content:
You could take this a step further and instead of just hiding the bonus content from non-gold members, you could have a box explaining they don’t have access to the bonus download/video and a way for them to join…
After building that section, you’d use the conditions to only show that to members who don’t have the “gold” membership tag.
What is Oxygen?
According to their FAQs, “Oxygen is a plugin for WordPress that allows you to visually design your site, from header to footer, without needing to write any code. If you want complete control over the look and feel of your WordPress site, Oxygen is what you’ve been looking for.”
Simply put, Oxygen lets you build your entire site without needing to know any coding.
Why Use Oxygen?
Oxygen isn’t the only site builder out there. Many of the other page builders (Elementor, Divi, and Beaver) are now supporting whole site editing – that is custom headers and footers along with other parts of the site.
In the past, Oxygen may have been unique in letting users design their header and footers, but other page builders have caught up. That doesn’t mean there aren’t any benefits to using Oxygen…
There are a number of advantages to using Oxygen over some of the other page builders. Primarily, users of Oxygen enjoy faster loading sites with cleaner markup, less bloat, and far more power in controlling the design and layout of their sites.

Oxygen was designed for speed and it does that by only loading what is needed for a page.
